Technical Teacher Assistant – Performing Arts

The position recognises that Arts teachers require assistance to ensure that students are supported and safe, working in the Performing Arts teaching areas.

Therefore, the key objective of the role is to ensure that a high level of support and assistance is provided to students in the Performing Arts learning area at the College.

Ongoing – 32.5 hrs per week, 44 weeks per year

Commencing ASAP

This ongoing position will work under the general supervision of the Arts Learning Area Leader and teachers to:

The role has three major components:

  • Assist teachers in the explanation and use of equipment on a one to one or small group basis.
  • Maintaining the Performing Arts facilities and assets of Marist Regional College under specified and established procedures, policies, and practices.
  • Provide support and assistance to Teachers in the Performing Arts in their use of Performing Arts facilities.


Salary will be in accordance with the Tasmanian Catholic Education Single Enterprise Agreement 2024.
